OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens made their final cuts before the league deadline of 4 p.m. by terminating the contract of defensive lineman Joe Salave'a and waiving offensive guard Jim Jones after reaching an injury settlement.
Salave'a is a former starter for the Tennessee Titans
who appeared to have clinched a spot by improving his health after spraining a knee on the first day of training camp.
Jones sprained his medial collateral ligament against the New York Giants.
The former Notre Dame starter has been on the Ravens' practice squad before and played in NFL Europe this spring.
