Boller suffers torn quadriceps tendon.

BynersInsiders.Com was the first (2:32PM) to report that Kyle Boller is out with a potentially season ending knee injury. Sources close to the site indicate that Boller suffered a tear in his quadriceps tendon during the Ravens' 33-22 loss to the St. Louis Rams Sunday night. Boller did not return for the second half of the game and was replaced by Chris Redman.

Team officials are now determining whether the repair of the injury can be accelerated by surgery. An announcement will also be made Tuesday as to whether Boller will be placed on injured reserve.

More to come.
