Wright to start Sunday, Ravens sign Lucas

The Baltimore Ravens announced today that they have signed 7 year veteran QB Ray Lucas. Defensive lineman Riddick Parker was cut from the team since Kyle Boller, expected to be out for only 6 weeks recovering from a torn quadriceps tendon, has not been placed on IR.

Lucas played seven games in 2002 for the Miami Dolphins, started six, and completed 92 of 160 passes for 1,045 yards, four TDs and six interceptions. He assumed the starter's role when Jay Fiedler suffered a broken right thumb.

Moments after being signed, Lucas let slip to reporters that Anthony Wright would be the starter in Miami on Sunday when the Ravens meet the Dolphins. More to come.
