10 Facts to Remember about the Tennessee Titans

<p>1. The fifth-seeded Titans are the fourth-seeded Baltimore Ravens' opponent on Saturday in the AFC wild-card playoff game that is set for 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 3.&nbsp;</p> <p> 2. Tennessee (12-4) finished second in the AFC South to the Indianapolis Colts.&nbsp;</p> <p> 3. Baltimore holds an 8-6 advantage over the Titans in the all-time series, including a dramatic 24-10 win in an AFC divisional playoff in 2000 in Nashville on its way to a Super Bowl title.&nbsp;</p>

4. In that win, former Ravens defensive end Keith Washington blocked Al Del Greco's field goal attempt and former Ravens safety Anthony Mitchell sprinted 90 yards for a touchdown. All-Pro Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis also returned an interception that Titans runner Eddie George bobbled for a touchdown. 

5. The Ravens have won the past five meetings, including a 13-12 win over Tennessee in 2002. 

6. Titans coach Jeff Fisher opted to have quarterback Steve McNair sit out of the team's 33-13 win Sunday over the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fisher said McNair could have played, but he chose to avoid possibly aggravating the quarterback's strained right calf, sprained left ankle and cracked bone spur. McNair played last week against the Houston Texans, but hasn't practiced in three weeks. 

7. McNair leads the AFC with a 100.4 quarterback rating, passing and has passed for 3,215 yards, 24 touchdowns, seven interceptions and 62.5-percent accuracy. 

8. George has rushed for 1,031 yards after posting 87 yards against the Buccaneers 

9. Derrick Mason is the Titans' leading receiver and a Pro Bowl choice. He had six catches for 90 yards and a score against Tampa Bay. For the season, he's up to 95 receptions for 1,303 yards and seven touchdowns. 

10. The Titans sport an impressive pass-rush tandem in defensive ends Jevon Kearse and Kevin Carter. They have combined for 15 sacks. Outside linebacker Keith Bulluck is a Pro Bowl selection.
