Thomas' agent: little progress made with Ravens

OWINGS MILLS – The agent for outside linebacker Adalius Thomas said that there hasn't been much progress in his negotiations with the Baltimore Ravens.

Thomas' agent, Bus Cook, declined to specify which teams he's talking with, but said the unrestricted free agent is mulling over an offer from another club. A special-teams ace who also generated four sacks for Baltimore, Thomas was selected to his first Pro Bowl last season.

Thomas expressed confidence last week that a deal could be brokered soon with Baltimore, adding that he wasn't inclined toward moving his family to a different city.

"I've talked to Baltimore, but I definitely wouldn't say we were close to reaching a deal," Cook said. "Adalius is still interested in playing for the Ravens, but we don't have a deal yet.

"He has an offer from another team. We'll keep talking with Baltimore and other teams and see what happens."
