Ravens agree to terms with Abney

OWINGS MILLS -- Seventh-round draft pick Derek Abney, a return specialist tabbed to compete with Lamont Brightful for a starting job, agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year contract worth $945,000 that includes a $25,000 signing bonus.

Abney returned eight kicks for touchdowns at Kentucky to tie an NCAA mark.

That deal leaves the Ravens with only one remaining unsigned rookie: sixth-round wide receiver Clarence Moore.

Moore's agent, Bruce Tollner, said he spoke with Ravens officials Tuesday and anticipates completing a deal before Thursday.
