Ravens form their practice squad

OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens established their eight-man practice squad.

The Ravens signed wide receiver Todd Devoe, cornerback Lance Frazier, offensive tackle Tony Pashos, offensive guard Brian Rimpf, tight end Brett Pierce, center Lenny Vandermade, receiver Freddie Milons and defensive lineman David Upchurch to their practice squad.

All were with the Ravens during training camp except for Milons and Upchurch.

Milons was a fifth-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002 and was inactive for the past two years after breaking his fibula. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers last year and was released last week.

Milons finished his career at Alabama as the Crimson Tide's all-time receptions leader with 159 and ranks behind Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome with 1,959 receiving yards.

Upchurch, 6-foot-2, 305 pounds, spent last year on the Steelers' practice squad and was cut last week. He was a three-year starter at West Virginia.
