A quick look at the Baltimore Ravens' first three picks on Saturday in the 2005 NFL Draft.

MARK CLAYTON

Drafted: First round, 22nd overall

Position: Wide receiver

School: Oklahoma

Size: 5-foot-10, 193 pounds

Speed: 4.41

Strength: Bench presses 270 pounds

Hometown: Arlington, Texas

Career statistics: All-American and All-Big-12 selection caught school record 221 passes for 3,241 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Last season: Caught 66 passes for 876 yards and eight touchdowns.

Upside: Excellent at running after the catch, regarded highly for his blocking ability, polished route-runner with return skills.

Downside: Lack of ideal size, strength or leaping ability

Where he fits in: Projected as an instant starter opposite two-time Pro Bowl wideout Derrick Mason.

Personal: Rescued victims in an automobile accident last summer.

DAN CODY

Drafted: Second round, 53rd overall

Position: Defensive end/linebacker

School: Oklahoma

Size: 6-foot-5, 255 pounds

Speed: 4.8

Strength: Bench presses 355 pounds

Hometown: Ada, Oklahoma

Career statistics: Registered 117 career tackles, 25 sacks, 49 tackles for losses, 42 quarterback pressures, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

Last season: All-Big Twelve selection recorded 42 tackles, 10 sacks and 17 tackles for losses.

Upside: Relentless pass rusher with intriguing short-area quickness and play-making ability.

Downside: Undersized for work in a three-point stance, needs to gain bulk and strength to hold up against the run. Missed all but one game in 2001 when he was diagnosed with clinical depression a few months after his grandmother's death.

Where he fits in: Could act as a situational pass rusher on third downs or be groomed for a starting role at linebacker.

Personal: Versatile background, having played quarterback, running back, fullback, tight end, wide receiver, linebacker, defensive end and free safety in high school.

ADAM TERRY

Drafted: Second round, 64th overall, acquired through trading 2005 3rd-round pick (84th overall), 2005 sixth-rounder (195th) and 2006 third-rounder to New England Patriots.

Position: Offensive tackle

School: Syracuse

Size: 6-foot-8, 330 pounds

Speed: 5.3

Strength: Bench presses 425 pounds

Hometown: Queensbury, New York

Career statistics: All-Big East Conference selection who was a three-year starter.

Last season: Anchored Syracuse offensive line that blocked for a pair of 800-yard rushers, personally recorded 45 knockdown blocks while allowing only two sacks.

Upside: Athletic, towering blocker with the agility to pull and track down defenders at the second level, excels in pass protection.

Downside: Needs to gain strength and bulk to make more of an impact in the running game, needs to maintain a lower center of gravity.

Where he fits in: Will have the opportunity to challenge incumbent Orlando Brown at right tackle.

Personal: Scored a 26 on the Wonderlic test.
