Michael Oher: "I'm trying to be relentless"

OWINGS MILLS -- Baltimore Ravens rookie offensive tackle Michael Oher has been making quick progress as he transitions to the NFL, and is making his bid to immediately start at right tackle. Here are some comments from him on his goals for this season:

"Mentally, I feel I'm ready. But, you've always got to do work physically. The physical workout is always the part that gets you ready for game day. What I've got to do is work hard. I've got to do all the things I need to do to get better, to get ready to start."

"I have the same mindset for every pass rusher. My plan is to put myself in the best situation to win every single one-on-one play. I work hard. It doesn't matter who the defender is – I try to bring my ‘A' game every snap."

"I think the transition is going pretty well. I still have a lot of things I need to work on. I'm a hard worker, so I know that I'm going to get myself prepared to be a good player in the league."

"I'm just trying to be a Raven. I'm trying to be relentless, be physical, get my job done, do everything I need to do to be a Raven. I know if I do that, I'll be prepared."
