Brad Jones rejoining Ravens

Rookie free agent defensive back Brad Jones is rejoining the Baltimore Ravens and is expected to practice with the team today. Jones was cut at the end of the Ravens' organized team activity schedule.

The former University of Cincinnati cornerback and safety was signed this spring after participated in the Ravens' minicamp on a tryout basis after impressing the coaching staff and scouts.

Jones had previously tried out for the Cleveland Browns after going undrafted this spring. Jones is a 6-foot, 192-pounder who has registered a 39-inch vertical leap and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds.

He also posted a 10-05 broad jump and a 4.22 in the 20-yard shuttle and a 6.78 three-cone drill at his campus Pro Day workout.

Jones flew under the radar during the draft process after not being invited to the NFL scouting combine.
