Ramsey Chat Rescheduled

The Redskins once again added lots of new players in the offseason, hoping to finally reach the postseason for only the second time since Joe Gibbs retired. But it's one player already on the roster who might hold the key to the season--quarterback Patrick Ramsey.

And, with less than a week before training camp, you can ask Ramsey what he thinks of his status.

Ramsey will join the Insiders for a chat at 2 p.m. ET on Friday. He'll be available for approximately 45 minutes. Ramsey had planned to chat on Thursday, but, because of a slight emergency that needed his attention, he was unable to make it. Ramsey, though, agreed to make himself available Friday.

The Redskins must report to training camp on Sunday and practice begins in Ashburn, Va., on Monday.

Ramsey enters the season as the clear No. 1 quarterback, ahead of veteran Rob Johnson. Ramsey ended the season as Washington's starter, guiding the Redskins to wins in their last two games.

The second-year player from Tulane hasn't slowed down in the offseason. He studied film almost every day and is determined to become an elite quarterback. He also had planned to talk with Colts' quarterback Peyton Manning this summer, trying to pick his brain about his plan of attack as he walks to the line of scrimmage, among other things.

He's also very detailed and organized, traits some say will help him succeed.

The chat is rescheduled for Friday July 25th at 2pm EST. You can go here to get in: http://chat.ccwerks.net:8002
