Packers CB Sam Shields ruled for Sunday

The Redskins passing attack catches a break as Green Bay enters Sunday's playoff matchup with its top cornerback.

When it comes to injuries, especially in the secondary, don't expect much sympathy from the Washington Redskins. Yet on the eve of their first NFL playofff game since 2012, it's the Green Bay Packers suffering a key loss.

The sense early in the week from Packer Report insider Bill Huber and other had cornerback Sam Shields back after missing the previous three games with a concussion. His absence means Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins faces a Green Bay defense without its number one corner.

Slot CB Casey Hayward is coming off a strong 2015 season. Rookies Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins have looked sharp at times, but are still rookies going against veterans like DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon.

Here's the full injury report from Friday.
