All-Rookie honors for Redskins' Brandon Scherff; Preston Smith snubbed

The Pro Football Writers of America recognized the strong season by one Redskins rookie, but overlooked another.

It's award season around the NFL. The Pro Football Writers of America is doing its part. On Tuesday, the PFWA announced the 2015 All-Rookie team. 

Brandon Scherff, the Redskins starting right guard for all 16 games and the No. 5 pick in the NFL Draft made the list. 

Preston Smith, the outside linebacker who led all rookies with eight sacks, did not.
