It's certainly possible that a certain three-word question/statement that defined the Redskins' 2015 season could become tiresome if overused going forward. Just not yet. Anyway, when it comes to Kirk Cousins' future, Dale Earnhardt Jr. likes that.
When it comes to the road ahead for Robert Griffin III, the famed NASCAR driver offered his opinion.
Earnhardt, a noted fan of the Washington Redskins, was apparently in the question answering mood on Twitter overnight. Some queries focused on current Redskins quarterbacks. Sorry, not you, Colt McCoy.
First off, the driver of the 88 car discussed Washington's No. 8.
Let's check our Earnhardtt's analysis
"His stats this season are undeniable." Cousins did lead the NFL in completion percentage and set several franchise records including most passing yards in a single season. Check.
"It seems the more he played the better he saw the game." On the season, Cousins had 29 touchdown passes with 11 interceptions. From Week 7 on, 23 TDP and three INT. Play better the more he played, check.
"So give him more time$." Sounds like that's the plan on both fronts, the time and the money.
That's some efficient tweet from Dale Jr., so much so that Cousins' agent could simply show this during negotiations and save lots of time.
As for Griffin, who likely becomes a free agent when the Redskins decline his player option, Earnhardt believes change is a good thing
Last but not least, why the Redskins, Dale?
