It appears Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan is sticking with the same approach in free agency. When it comes to players from other teams, aim for help and avoid the hype.
Former Steelers inside linebacker Terence Garvin tweeted out a picture Thursday of what appears to be his new contract with the Redskins.
Garvin, 25, hails from Baltimore after playing for West Virginia. On the NFL level, he's primarily made his mark on special teams. That's the same profile for safety David Bruton, one of three free agents now added by Washington. The Redskins also signed Kendall Reyes, a rotational defensive lineman.
However, the inside linebacker depth chart isn't exactly set in stone.
