Redskins linebacker Shawn Barber wins this award, hands down. On Monday, he complained of a Washington Times photo which stated that the ballcarrier eluded his grasp.

Barber said that wasn't the case. Fine. He made the point to the Times' writers (who don't write those captions anyway).

Forget that the Redskins lost 30-3 and Barber made only two tackles.

It wasn't enough for him. So, on Wednesday, a day after the greatest tragedy in the United States, Barber had to make the same point. And make it. And make it.

Barber didn't even flinch when reminded about Tuesday's events. Nor did he blush when told about something meaningless, like the score.

For shame.
