The Washington Redskins began their official offseason workout program Monday at Redskins Park. Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan spoke with local reporters via conference call after the team's first true team activity since losing in the NFC Playoffs to Green Bay last January.
"It was real good, "Kerrigan said of formally getting things ramped up again as a team following last season's NFC East title. "I've been here the whole off-season. The weight room has been pretty bare. We only have like 8-9 guys here throughout the offseason. ...Having mostly everyone back made it a lot more fun especially to see some of the guys who were injured all of last season. To have them back in the mix, back with the group, to spend some time with them was good.
Kerrigan answered questions on several topics, including Junior Galette's return from injury, Kirk Cousins entering the season after signing his franchise tag, biggest areas the team must collectively work on for next season. Here's a quick look at some of his answers.
