Redskins QB Kirk Cousins is the NFL's 85th-best player, according to his peers

Cousins led the league in completion percentage and was fifth in passer rating last season

NFL Network revealed on Wednesday night that Kirk Cousins has been named by other current players as the NFL's 85th-best player. Cousins is the first Redskin to appear on NFL Network's "Top 100 Players of 2016" countdown, and only players Nos. 81-100 have been revealed thus far.

Cousins, in his first full season as a pro starter last year, led the Washington Redskins to the playoffs. He threw 29 touchdowns to just 11 interceptions and registered the league's top completion percentage, 69.8. Cousins' 101.6 passer rating was the fifth-best last year.

Trent Williams (No. 47), DeSean Jackson (No. 50) and Ryan Kerrigan (No. 78) were the Redskins' representatives on the 2015 list.
