Those wondering or hoping DeSean Jackson would show for this week's Organized Team Activities (OTA) at Redskins Park can stop doing that.
Jackson posted a picture to his Instagram account Tuesday night that indicates the wide receiver is training in his native Southern California.
Jackson skipped the first OTA last week and largely hasn't been around this offseason, a scenario that will prevent him or earning a $500,000 workout bonus. "Yeah you know he has been here, he has popped in had a cup of coffee," head coach Jay Gruden cracked last week.
It's important to remember that these practices are not mandatory, a point Gruden stated. It's also worth noting Jackson was the only notable Redskins player not in Ashburn last week.
Looming over the scenario is that Jackson suffered a hamstring last season that essentially cost him the first seven games. Gruden didn't seem to concerned about the injury angle.
"He will be ready to go and probably show up next week or it could be whenever," he said.
Whenever, you're up.
