Because you were living life, it's quite possible you missed some or most of the action from the Washington Redskins training camp on August 1. Each morning we'll have a recap of the all the news, notes, features, interviews, videos and any other coverage from Breaking Burgundy's team on the ground in Richmond.

First, a reminder: the Redskins will have a morning walkthrough Tuesday at 10:35 a.m. followed by an afternoon practice at 3 p.m. Check out the full training camp schedule here.

* No Joshing -- It might be some time before we can cross a third name off the PUP list -- Josh Doctson reportedly weeks away from return.

* Cross another name off the PUP list -- Shawn Lauvao makes his return to the field right when Gruden predicted.

Training camp observations -- So, how did Lauvao fair in his first gridiron appearance in ten months? Plus those corner-receiver matchups.

* Classifying Cravens? -- Breaking Burgundy film analyst Paul Connor takes a look at clues indicating how the Redskins plan to use rookie Su'a Cravens.

Must watch players -- Breaking Burgundy's Ben Standig ranks the most fascinating players with training camp and the preseason in mind.

What they said

"We weren’t necessarily the biggest, but our coaches understood that if you were fast then you had a chance to get in your gap and do your responsibility the right way. And, you know, Su’a is one of those guys. He’s a tweener but he can bang like a linebacker and he can run like a safety. So right now we’re asking him to play a little linebacker for us. Who knows in the future where he might be playing. He might back there playing some safety too." -- DeAngelo Hall on Cravens

Coach speak translator -- What Jay Gruden is really telling us in his three most interesting comments so far in camp.

RG who? -- Get to know the Redskins new No. 10, wide receiver Valdez Showers.

Crying Jordan for the win -- Junior Galette wins social media with an A+ tweet.

* Neil's Nugget: You may reason that it is not the end of the world that Washington is without Doctson for possibly the rest of the offseason and although true, it is not a good mentality. Yes the Redskins have other receiving threats in Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Jamison Crowder and Vernon Davis, but these rookie reps are essential for Doctson's development. Of course, rushing Doctson back from injury is not the key, but the TCU product's growth may be stunted and in turn hurt Washington in 2017 when the organization must decide whether to re-sign Jackson and Garcon.
