Su'a Cravens discussed his concussion situation on his Snapchat account Tuesday via a series of videos and pictures. The Washington Redskins rookie linebacker entered the NFL's concussion protocol program after exiting the Week 4 game against Cleveland. He did not practice last week and sat out Sunday's win over Baltimore.
Cravens shows himself trying on glasses. In one video with the glasses on, he says that he just finished meeting with a doctor and jokingly asks "Notice anything different?"
In other video he says, "Due to my concussion my eyes have lost the memory to keep track of moving objects so i have to wear these for the rest of my life," Cravens said in one video. In another he said, "So i had to buy these glasses and I'll be wearing them for a very long time. He signed of sarcastically, "Thanks, concussions."
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Monday that Cravens would meet with an "independent doctor" on Tuesday.
Cravens did not say whether he would be available for the upcoming game against Philadelphia Sunday at FedEx Field. other pictures.
Needless to say, but I am not a doctor and therefore do not if what Cravens says is accurate or what it means if true. Expect more questions for Gruden from the media when the team reconvenes Wednesday at Redskins Park. Breaking Burgundy reached out Tuesday to a member of the Redskins PR staff, who deferred to Gruden.
