The game is upon us. Josh Norman and the Washington Redskins are welcoming the Carolina Panthers months after the latter rescinded Norman's franchise tag. The talk and buzz surrounding the game was present in the week leading up to the game and all the way until kickoff as some of Norman's former teammates chimed in on social media.
Defensive end Charles Johnson had some not so nice choice words.
Daryl Worley, a third-round rookie the Panthers are using in place of Norman this season, got a quick dig in as well.
Norman led an enthusiastic pre-game huddle.
Norman told ESPN's Lisa Salters that the only person he has animosity for in the Carolina organization is GM Dave Gettleman. "I want to try and show him up every chance I get," Norman told Salters.
Now we will have to watch and see what happens when they come for you.
