Junior Galette says he is re-signing with the Washington Redskins

Washington could use his pass rush ability next season.

The Washington Redskins may have one less unrestricted free agent to worry about on Wednesday. Per an Instagram post from himself, Junior Galette will be re-signing with the team to start the month of February.

"5 years of my Prime Left I Promise to give it everything I have...Thankful to be signing another Contract W/ The @redskins Tommorrow #Blessed"

Galette missed the past two seasons with a torn Achilles tendon, one on each foot, after the Redskins took a chance on the veteran following his release from New Orleans.

The hope is for Galette to return to his 2013 and 2014 season form when he combined for 22 sacks and four forced fumbles in 28 starts.

Galette will join a front-seven of pass rushers that includes Ryan Kerrigan, Preston Smith, and Trent Murphy.

Washington still has 13 unrestricted free agents left including quarterback Kirk Cousins as well as wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon.
