Making a Killings

The Redskins re-signed defensive tackle Cedric Killings today, a minor move and, most likely, a rather inconsequential one.

Killings spent the last four weeks on the Redskins' roster this past season, but was never activated. His most action came in NFL Europe last year, where he had 32 tackles and three sacks for the Rhein Fire.

The 6-2, 290-pound Killings has spent time with San Francisco, Carolina and Minnesota since 2000. Killings' chances improved with the recent release of Jermaine Haley, but at best he'd be a No. 4 tackle.
