C. Hall Now an Ex-Redskin

No, the front page picture did not accidently revert to a few days ago; Cory Hall is in the news for the Redskins again. The ex-Falcon and ex-Bengal became an ex-Redskin at his own request today, getting his release from the team that signed him just three days ago.

Just a few days after signing him as to compete for a spot at safety, the Redskins released Cory Hall, a six-year veteran.

The release came at Hall's request according to a report by the team. He seemed to be somewhat unsure about continuing his football career earlier this offseason. According to some reports, he was out of shape when he visited the Dallas Cowboys last month and his passion to continue playing was in question.

Hall's departure makes the Redskins' safety picture a bit clearer, although there are still five players who have started at safety in the NFL—Sean Taylor, Matt Bowen, Andre Lott, Ryan Clark, and Pierson Prioleau.
