2001 SEASON

All-Southeastern Conference first-team selection by the league's coaches, earning second-team honors from the Associated Press… Received the Eric Andolsek Leadership Award for his performance…One of three team captains…Started every game for the second-straight year…Finished with 18 receptions for 224 yards (12.4 avg) and a touchdown.

Tulane…Had two catches for 21 yards and a 16-yard score.

Utah State…Gained 72 yards on 5 receptions and opened a hole for LaBrandon Toefield's 5-yard scoring run.

Tennessee…Caught 2 passes for 18 yards.

Middle Tennessee…Gained 32 yards on two catches.

Arkansas…Set up Toefield's 9-yard touchdown run with a 27-yard catch.

Tennessee (SEC Championship)…Caught 2 passes for 17 yards.

Illinois (Sugar Bowl)…Had 2 catches for 15 yards and a 7-yard touchdown.

 

2000 SEASON

All-Southeastern Conference second-team choice by the Associated Press and first-team pick by the league's coaches…Started every game as he set an LSU record for tight ends with five touchdown receptions...Finished the year ranked fourth on the squad with 22 catches for 340 yards (15.5 avg).

Western Carolina…Had 2 catches for 32 yards.

Houston…Caught 3 passes for 42 yards and a 30-yard touchdown.

Tennessee…Gained 54 yards on 3 catches, including a game-winning 25-yard score in overtime that gave the Tigers a 38-31 victory.

Florida…Had 3 catches for 33 yards and a 5-yard touchdown.

Alabama…Caught 3 passes for 71 yards, including scores of 5 & 16 yards.

Mississippi…Gained 33 yards on a pair of catches.

Arkansas…Had 2 catches for 29 yards.

 

1999 SEASON

Caught 19 passes for 143 yards (7.5 avg) and a touchdown in ten games.

North Texas…Caught 3 passes for 17 yards.

Kentucky and Georgia…Gained 12 yards on 3 receptions in both games.

Mississippi State…Had 3 receptions for 43 yards.

Mississippi…Caught 3 passes for 24 yards.

Florida…Had a 10-yard touchdown catch.

 

1998 SEASON

Valuable blocker...Saw action on 120 plays on offense and 42 on special teams...Special teams action came on kickoff return and punt return units.

 

BASKETBALL

Played in five games for the LSU men's basketball team before retiring from the sport in late January...In five games, he played 37 minutes and scored 10 points (2.0 per game) to go along with six rebounds (1.2 per game).

4.97 in the 40-yard dash…31-inch vertical jump…305-pound bench press…430-pound squat…33 ¼-inch arm length…9-inch hands…Right-handed.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Posted 80 tackles and five sacks at defensive end his senior year at Karr (New Orleans, La.) High...Mostly used as a blocker, but did catch nine passes for 177 yards, for an average of 19.7 yards per catch his senior season...Karr finished with a 5-6 record in '96.
