Q&A With Chris Cooley

The Redskins' H-Back talks about the defenses that teams have been putting up to stop him and looks forward to Saturday's contest in Seattle.

Q: Is it an advantage for them to have a week off?
A: You know, honestly I don't know. We're in a groove now. We're playing well now and I don't know how big an advantage it is. Sometimes it's hard to take a week off.

Q: But you're on a roll.
A: Yeah, as far as winning games, but putting up yards we're at a standstill. But we're winning games.

Q: What's been different with the passing game?
A: Especially on me I've seen a ton of man coverage and there's been a lot of man over the top on Santana. What Tampa did best was stop the run game.

Q: You've seen more man coverage?
A: A lot more in the last three weeks. A lot more than I ever have, that's for sure.

Q: After how the offense played last week, do you want to get back on the field ASAP?
A: We have to get back to the drawing board and practice field is what we need to do.

Q: Do you think there's something to a team getting on a roll and having things go their way?

A: I think there is. Teams find a way to win games. We know what it's like to finish a game off. I think that's what we're doing well now. It's a team game. We're doing a great job of winning games.

Q: Does that type of attitude help when you're a nine-point underdog playing a 13-3 team?
A: Definitely. I think it'll help us. We go in confident and we look at the game as even.

Q: How much does it help that you've beaten them?
A: Honestly, it was a long time ago. I don't know if it's a big deal that we've played before. It wasn't a big deal for Tampa beating us before. They're a good team. They have a quick defense. It'll be a tough game.
