DB Coach Jackson Comments on ESPN Article

Washington defensive backs coach Steve Jackson was the target of much criticism in an ESPN.com article. He responded to the story today.

''Adam's working hard. He has expectations for himself. We have expectations for him. He's doing everything that we're asking him to do. All you can tell him is, ‘Keep yourself ready to play. You never know what's going to happen the next snap.' He prepares himself like a professional, like he was still going out there starting. He hasn't pouted. He hasn't done anything wrong. He's just not the starter. We have big hopes for him. the whole team has struggled. It wouldn't be fair to single out Adam.''

''The article was written. Whatever was said was said in there was said in there. That's somebodys opinion. I've known Gregg since 1991, I've known Jerry since 1992. Jerry is like a big brother. Big brothers have different ways of doing things. We've had a lot worse stuff written about us in the past.''

''It's hard to say it was a distraction when you go out and win.''
