Quarterback Jason Campbell and Marcus Washington both felt lucky. But neither is certain when they'll return.
Campbell (bruised knee) could return sooner than Washington (dislocated right elbow) and hasn't yet been ruled out for Saturday's game against Baltimore. Campbell left Redskins Park walking without much of a limp.
''I'm thankful to God I didn't have anying more serious than it is,'' Campbell said. ''Nine times out of 10 when you see that it's usually something that's not good ... I did get kind of lucky.''
Campbell is considered day to day. Washington is already out for this week -- the Redskins typically say day-to-day so for them to rule him out already could be telling.
Washington said it ''should take two weeks but we'll play it by ear.'' Trainers told him that other players have returned in as little as a week after similiar injuries.
...Receiver Mike Espy (knee) had surgery today and is out for the season.
...Left guard Todd Wade (shoulder) will practice Tuesday and return to the first unit, according to coach Joe Gibbs.
