Redskins Courting a Defensive Lineman

Defensive Linemen is a recognized need for the Redskins. Could this player be a possible target?

Viking Update's Tim Yotter has learned, through a league source, that Notre Dame defensive lineman Trevor Laws is scheduled to visit with the Washington Redskins on April 7-8 in preparation for the draft.

With the age of three of their starters getting up there, the Redskins need to look at grooming a replacement now so that in the future, they aren't caught with out a capable starter.

Trevor is the eighth ranked DT according to Scout.com's draft rankings and projects to be around a third or fourth round pick.

While Trevor is not projected as a starting caliber Defensive Tackle, he is best known for his work and hustle. He gives it his all on every play. He is a very tough player that plays physical.

While he is probably not stout enough to be a Nose Tackle in a 3-4, he could become a very solid rotational player at Defensive Tackle for the Redskins.
