...He's expected to have a minor procedure on his left calf Monday, according to coach Jim Zorn. However, there's as much a chance that it could happen Sunday night.
...The Redskins expect him to play. Taylor will accompany the team on
the trip and, knowing him, he'll want to play.
...Taylor admitted the other day that he's only 60 percent recovered
from his Sept. 22 surgery to fix the compartmental syndrome in his calf.
...Yes, he's greatly frustrated at his situation. Taylor was brought
here to make big plays, but so far that hasn't happened. Playing the
left side has not helped. He's a right end, but Andre Carter is not
able to play on the left side full-time. He's just not good enough
against the run.
...The Redskins have no idea yet how long a procedure would sideline
Taylor. So it's not even worth hazarding a guess until after the
...Back to the frustration. It's also hard for him because he left a
situation where many people knew him and he didn't feel like he had to
prove anything to the fans, media or teammates. Yes, he's getting $7.5

one of the first things DL coach John Palermo brought up the other day
when I asked him about Taylor. Called him a true pro.
