Clinton Portis: At some point Portis will have an off-day. That day won't come Sunday, not against a team that allows 167.5 yards rushing a game. There's not a game the rest of the season that he should sit.
Chris Cooley: He leads Washington with 34 catches and will always be
one of the first players Jason Campbell looks for. The problem we have
is that Cooley only has one touchdown reception. Still, a
multiple-score game is always around the corner for him.
Jason Campbell: The Lions surrender 251.2 passing yards per game.
Campbell has been somewhat non-descript of late, with just one
touchdown in the past three games. The passing game needs to generate
more. You have to play him in this game. The opportunity is there.
Santana Moss: See above. The Lions haven't stopped the pass and
opposing receivers average 13.5 yards per catch. He's due. And the
Lions corners just aren't that good.
Redskins defense: Of course. Detroit QB Dan Orlovsky has been sacked
nine times in two games. The Redskins should easily add to that total.
Lions RT George Foster has been benched five times in two years. Take
advantage of him.
Shaun Suisham: Expect him to be busy Sunday, whether kicking field
goals or extra points.
