Jason Campbell: Guess it depends on who else you have. Pittsburgh makes life difficult for opposing QBs, holding them to a 75.0 passer rating and sacking them 25 times. Campbell has thrown just two touchdown passes in the past four games so he's not exactly hot. This is not a good matchup for him. Also, if Santana Moss and Chris Samuels can't play, it's a horrible matchup.
Santana Moss: He's a game-time decision and because the game is on Monday it helps his chances. If healthy, the Redskins will look to get him the ball on quick routes and will have to strike downfield at times. It's a risk to play him.
Chris Cooley: You have to play Cooley this week. If Moss doesn't play, Cooley becomes more of a focal point. And they'll definitely try to get him the ball more in the red zone.
Clinton Portis: Isn't this a no-brainer? After all he's rushed for 120-plus in five straight games. A great game Monday could mean 80 yards against this D. The Steelers will be the best overall defense Washington has faced because of how well they play the run. Hard to justify sitting Portis, just don't expect huge numbers. But you also know they'll run the ball to him inside the 5.
Redskins defense: A must. Pittsburgh has struggled offensively all season. The Steelers likely will have RB Willie Parker back as well as WR Santonio Holmes. Cleveland, Philly and the Giants have shut down this offense. Washington's defense can match their efforts. Also, the Steelers have allowed 24 sacks.
