Q: Does being a coach with the Giants and Eagles give you an advantage in this game?
A: I think it works both ways. Certainly I have been in the conference, but also the Redskins know a little bit about us too. I think that's a 50-50 wash to be honest with you.
Q: What are your thoughts on Jason Campbell?
A: I have always had tremendous respect for him. I think Jason Campbell is a quality quarterback in this league. He poses a threat that always drives us crazy; that he's a great athlete and he can make things happen. He can win with his feet, he can get out of trouble, and that can be frustrating for a defense.
Q: What about Clinton Portis?
A: Clinton Portis is one of the best running backs in the league. He is a Pro Bowl player. He makes it go and when he gets going that offense is twice as effective. I have always had great respect for him.
Q: Do you wonder what it would have been like if he had come to Washington to coach?
A: I'm here in St. Louis with the 2009 Rams. No second thoughts. We have a game to play. We have a great group of guys here, and everything we are trying to get done here and we just keep moving forward.
Q: Do you see any changes in Jason since you coached in New York?
A: I would reiterate that I have always had a great deal of respect for him. Of course I have been in that conference and blessed enough to work the past two years as a defensive coordinator. Anytime you have to defend a quality quarterback that also has the added ability as an athlete to run and hurt you with his feet, it's very, very challenging. It keeps you up at night and gives you nightmares. That's why I have a great deal of respect for him.
