Week 9 Injury Report

The Saints head into their week 9 match up against Tampa Bay with several key injuries on both sides of the ball. Many of their starters are playing with bumps and bruises, a common occurrence this time of year, and some of their young backups will be expected to fill in.

James Fenderson strained a ligament in his knee last Sunday. He is expected to miss two weeks.

Kenny Smith hurt his right knee but is expected to start against the Buccaneers.

Kendrick Allen hurt his right knee but is expected to play against the Buccaneers.

Joe Horn is experiencing some discomfort in his knee. He is sitting out some practices but is expected to start this weekend.

Jonathen Sullivan is expected back from an injured thigh and should start this weekend.

Darrin Smith sat out practice and is still listed as day to day.

Sedrick Hodge expects to return from his back injury in week 11.

Donte Stallworth expects to return from a thigh injury this weekend.

Kendyl Jacox sat out practice with a knee injury. If he can't play this weekend he'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Montre Holland.
