Saints Week 10 Injury Report

The Saints head into this weekend's bye week with many injuries. Several starters had to be pulled from this past weekend's game against Tampa Bay and are exoected to be rested for at least this week. All is not bleak, however, for the Saints as they should have two defensive starters reurn from injuries in time for their next game on November 16th, against Atlanta.

Kendyl Jacox left Sunday's game with a sprained right knee. He will be held out of practice this week and is expected to play in the game following the bye week.

Victor Riley is listed as day to day.

Wayne Gandy is listed as day to day.

Joe Horn had his knee scoped again and is appears to be fine.

LeCharles Bently left Sunday's game with a hyperextended left knee. He will likely be held out of practice but expects to play in the Nov, 16th game against Atlanta.

Dale Carter left Sunday's game with a strained quadricep. He will likely be held out of practice and is listed as day to say though he expects to play in the Nov. 16th game against Atlanta.

Darrin Smith left Sunday's game with a pulled hamstring. He will be held out of practice this week and it is not clear whether he will be ready to play in the game following the bye week against Atlanta.

Willie Whitehead returned to New Orleans on Monday, Nov. 3, after spending Sunday night in a Tampa-area hospital with symptoms of dehydration. Whitehead became light-headed before boarding the team plane after the game and was hospitalized as a precautionary measure.

Donte Stallworth should be fully healed from his thigh injury in time to play in the Nov. 16th game against Atlanta.

Sedrick Hodge is expected to return to full-time work this week after practicing on a limited basis the previous two weeks while recovering from a hairline fracture in his right leg suffered in Week 2. He expects to play in the teams next game.

Darren Howard had the cast removed from his wrist and is expected to begin light drills this week. The team is hoping he can practice fully next week and play against Atlanta on November 16th.
