Darren Howard will play, though how much remains to be seen. How much Howard will play will most likely depend on how well he fares in practices leading up to the game. "He (Howard) will be day-to-day. We will see how he feels. He will play. I don't know how long he will play and what role he will play in, whether it is first and second down or third down. Darren will play some." Haslett is comfortable with his depth along the defensive line, "We will move Willie Whitehead inside if Darren can play. Kenny Smith will play. Jonathen Sullivan will play. Melvin Williams will play. We still have Kenderick Allen and Henry Ford. We will make sure that whoever is active will play a lot. We will keep a good rotation going," Haslett said.
Haslett believe that this weekends game will be tough since Atlanta is not only running the ball well but finally getting some consistent play from their secondary. The Falcons penchant for big plays last weekend is also a concern.
As for the rest of the year Haslett believe that a better turnover margin is the most important thing for the team to focus on in order to improve,"Our guys know that we need to play well," he said. "The biggest part of the second half of the season is turnovers. The team that commits the least and the defense that gets the most usually wins the games."
