Cardinals: Week 7 Report Card

Once again, the Cardinals graded out poorly following a loss against the division rival Seattle Seahawks.

PASSING OFFENSE: F -- Starting QB Max Hall completed four of 16 passes before leaving with a concussion in the third quarter. Backup Derek Anderson was better, but the Cardinals still can't get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald, who had three catches for 30 yards.

RUSHING OFFENSE: B -- The Cardinals could be a good running team if they could stay close in games and not fumble. Tim Hightower lost his third fumble of the year. He gained 59 yards on six carries but didn't have another one after the fumble.

PASSING DEFENSE: B -- The Cardinals sacked Matt Hasselbeck five times and gave up one touchdown. Overall, it was a good effort.

RUSHING DEFENSE: C -- The Seahawks broke only one long run but finished with 144 yards on 36 carries. That was mostly a result of getting and maintaining a lead.

SPECIAL TEAMS: D -- LaRod Stephens-Howling had a 71-yard kickoff return, but that was the only highlight. Jason Wright fumbled away a kickoff. Andre Roberts did the same with a punt return. Ben Graham had a 7-yard punt.

COACHING: C -- The defensive game plan and execution weren't flawless, but they were good enough to win. Coach Ken Whisenhunt continues to say his offense will improve, but there's been no evidence of that yet. Top Stories
