Watch: Marshawn Lynch spars with UFC champion Luke Rockhold

Beast Mode, indeed!

Heavy hands, quick reflexes and sheer power... some of the same traits which helped Marshawn Lynch star on the football field are just as obvious in a video of a quick sparring match with UFC champion Luke Rockhold.

Here's the video., which was originally captured by Fancy MMA.

The 6-3, 185 pound Rockhold is the current middleweight champion with a record of 15-2 overall. The native of Santa Cruz, California has risen to success based on his kickboxing, jiu jitsu and wrestling, according to his official UFC page.

The 5-11, 215 pound Lynch certainly doesn't look intimidated by Rockhold in the video, showing quick, heavy hands to slap away the champ's jab and nearly connecting on a straight left with his left hand to Rockhold's chin, much to the delight of any least one observer in the video. After, the playful side of both world-class athletes comes out.

Though Lynch's world tour and the comments from both Pete Carroll and John Schneider indicate that the best back in Seahawks' history has retired, he hasn't done so officially yet.

The Seahawks currently have running backs Thomas Rawls, Christine Michael and Cameron Marshall on the roster with Rawls the clear favorite to take over as Seattle's primary runner next season. He's coming off a broken ankle, however, which could put the Seahawks in position to draft a running back next month, perhaps early.
