Josh Brown booted a 37-yard field to give the Seattle Seahawks a 20 to 19 win over the San Francisco 49ers at Seahawks Stadium. The win improves Seattle record to 4-1 and give them a three game lead in the NFC West. San Francisco drops to 2-4.
The Seattle Seahawks jumped out to a 17 – 0 lead then watched as the 49ers scored 19 straight points to take the lead. Seattle converted a late field goal and recovered a fumble send to 67,437 Seattle fans home happy.
San Francisco kicker Owen Pochman missed wide right on a 38 yard field after the 49ers first possession of the game stalled at the Seattle 19 yard.
Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck hit Itula Muli with a fifteen yard pass to give Seattle a quick 7-0 lead on it's first possession of the game.

Seattle was penalized for two unnecessary roughness penalties (Robbie Tobeck, Matt Hasselbeck) on its next offensive possession and punted the ball after just three plays. Head Coach Mike Holmgren was dissatisfied with the number of penalties the Seahawks had in the game. " It was uncharacteristic, and I will not tolerate it." Holmgren said after the game.
