The Seattle Seahawks were represented by five players at this years Pro Bowl game in Hawaii.
None shone greater than running back Shaun Alexander.
Seahawk running back Shaun Alexander not only showed that
he belonged but that he can be the
best among the best at yesterdays NFL Pro Bowl game in Honolulu Hawaii.
Alexander led all running backs in the game with 66 yards rushing on 13 carries
and scored three touchdowns.
Alexander scored two of his three touchdowns in the fourth
quarter as the NFC rallied from a 25 point deficit to take a 55-52 victory over
Alexander out rushed fellow NFC teammate
Ahamn Green who had 40 yards on seven carries.
St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger was named the games
MVP and set a Pro Bowl record with four touchdown passes.
Seahawk teammate quarterback Matt Hasselbeck had a decent day passing as he finished the day with 51 yards on
4/9 pass attempts.
Hasselbeck's day was a mixed bag in that he engineered a successful field goal
drive, ended another drive when he took a sack at his teams 35 yard line, ended
a third with an interception and a
fourth drive was ended in a missed 50 yard field goal by Jeff Wilkins.
Seattle's other three Pro Bowl players did
their part in the All Star
extravaganza as special teams specialist Alex Bannister had one tackle and a fair
catch , while linemen Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones enjoyed penalty and sack free afternoons.
All in all not a bad day for the Seahawks as an organization, the five
representatives showed that Seattle should be a team to be reckoned with next
