Alexander and a school friend were cleaning erasers on a warm spring day wen they were happened upon by a photographer from the Boone Country Recorder.

The photographer asked if she could take their picture and Shaun and his friend agreed. Since then, his picture has appeared in countless publications and he has granted thousands of interviews.

But he avoided getting a big head. For Shaun it was about winning and more importantly, winning as a team.

"I've got a good idea where I want to go (to college)," Alexander told the Kentucky Post entering his senior season at Boone County High School.

"If I did go ahead and commit, it wouldn't help our team. I don't want the team to think I am looking past this season. It is going to be a big one for all of us."

Boy was it.

Stay tuned for Part 5.
