Seahawks.NET Power Rankings - Week Seventeen

In his weekly Power Rankings, Seahawks.NET's Dylan Johnson investigates the NFL's overachievers and underperformers.

The Seahawks.NET Power Rankings are based SOLELY on the Points Scored For rankings and the Points Scored Against rankings as published by NFL.com on each Tuesday. The Ranking is determined by adding the Offensive Ranking and Defensive Ranking with ties broken by comparing the raw numbers. Look for teams with records that don't seem to match their rankings to spot underachievers/overachievers. For example, if a team is ranked low in the standings but has better record than all of the teams around them, that team is overachieving, whereas a team that is ranked high in the standings but with a poor record is underachieving.

This Week's Best: Cincinnati Bengals – Up 4 Spots.

This Week's Worst: Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Down 3 Spots.

Greatest Underachiever Award for the Highest Ranked Team to Miss the Playoffs:  Buffalo Bills at #5.

Greatest Overachiever Award for the Lowest Ranked Team to Make the Playoffs:  St. Louis Rams at #25.
