Holmgren complained of chest discomfort on Monday afternoon and was taken to a local hospital, where testsahowed no heart problems and Holmgren was advised by doctors to rest for a couple of days. The team's official website reports that an angiogram was performed.
Holmgren sounded in good spirits when speaking to the media at Kirkland HQ. “My wife is a little mad at me, but I figured if I stayed away two days my parking spot would be gone,” Holmgren said. “They did all the tests and I think I'm in pretty good shape. I go in to see the docs again on Friday.”
