Full Name:
Ben Obomanu School: Auburn Pos: WR

Ht: 6-1 Wt: 205 40: 4.50 Year: 4Sr

Bio: Led the team last year posting 33/357/5 after 25/359/7 the prior year.

Pos: Developing receiver who elevated his game as a senior. Solid athlete who extends over defenders and high-points the pass. Displays sharpness running routes, stays low on exit and offers the quarterback a big target. Comes back to the ball, displays good focus and body control.

Neg: Does not consistently catch the ball cleanly. Lacks top-end speed and does not present himself as a deep threat.

Analysis: Physically talented, Obamanu has the skills necessary to develop into a productive third receiver at the next level.

Combine -
40-Yard Dash: 4.45. 20-Yard Dash: 2.70. 10-Yard Dash: 1.64. Vertical Jump: 38. Broad Jump: 9'8". 20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.23. 3-Cone Drill: 7.18.
Pro Day - 40-Yard Dash: 4.44. Vertical Jump: 41. Broad Jump: 10'1". 20-Yard Shuttle: 4.44. 3-Cone Drill: 6.98.

Scott Eklund: The Hawks needed to add a kick returner and Obomanu may be just that player. He's quick and has good speed and while he may not have a ton of experience returning kicks, he could possibly be a solid player in this area. As a route-runner, Obomanu isn't very polished, but he has excellent hands. He will have a tough time making the Hawks roster with the depth at wideout, but if he can return kicks and be a gunner on special teams, he may have a chance of sticking.
