Hand Probably Won't Sideline Hasselbeck

FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer has learned that Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck is scheduled to undergo an MRI today for an injury to his left (non-throwing) hand during last night's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Hasselback slammed the hand against a helmet and is experiencing swelling.

It’s not known exactly what the injury is or how serious it is but the team does not believe he’ll miss any time due to the fact the injury is, again, to his non-throwing hand. Hasselback is a right-handed passer.

Hasselbeck started slowly in his first game back from an MCL injury in his knee but played very well in the second half.

Hasselback had missed the previous four and a half games after injuring his knee when Minnesota LB E.J. Henderson hit him low in a 31-13 loss to the Vikings.

Seattle's Pro Bowl quarterback threw three picks on Monday Night Football and had a fumble returned for a TD all in the first half. But the second half painted a different picture, as he returned to elite form while carving up the Packers D on the way to a 34-24 victory.
