During Hasselbeck’s appearance on the April 25 “Late Hits” show with Brian McGovern on Sirius NFL Radio, Seattle’s quarterback talked about many things, including…

The “Mama’s Boys” Chunky soup campaign he’s currently shooting in Canada;

Toronto, where nobody knows who he is, and all they care about is hockey;

Hanging out with DeMarcus Ware, LaDanian Tomlinson, Devin Hester – having fun and spending time together;

Other players involved in the commercials – Jonathan Vilma, Todd Heap, Maurice Jones-Drew … and their moms!

Shoulder surgery recovery – he’s working hard and feeling good. he didn’t know how he’d fare during the commercials, because he’s not playing quarterback much. At one point, he’s directed to cut-block Tomlinson in a backyard football game!

He’s able to throw just fine – looking forward to participating in the May minicamp as much as possible;

The Seahawks moving forward – the window of opportunity is “right here, right now.” The hope this year is for a first-round bye in the playoffs and home field. He believes that the Seahawks have the pieces in place to make another run.
