By the Numbers: Forsett, Coutu Deals Detailed

Scout.com's Adam Caplan has informed Seahawks.NET of the contract breakdowns for two of the three players that have signed deals with the Seahawks so far.

Cal running back Justin Forsett, the team's first of two seventh-round draft picks in 2008, signed a four-year deal-with the following minimum base salaries:

2008: $195,000
2009: $385,000
2010: $470,000
2011: $555,000

Forsett's signing bonus is $46,000. Escalators are tied to Forsett's participation in 80% of the Organized Team Activities each year.

Georgia kicker Brandon Coutu, the second seventh-round pick of 2008, has a deal with the same base salaries, and a signing bonus of $45,650. Part of his contract is tied to his field goal accuracy, or how many points he scores. Coutu also has escalators based on OTA participation.

Stay tuned for the numbers on sixth-round long-snapper Tyler Schmitt (who has also signed), other 2008 draft picks as they agree to terms, and more Seahawks news as it becomes available.
