The Seattle Seahawks made a move on Tuesday that will likely impact their return game.
Rookie running back Justin Forsett, who was re-signed to the practice squad a week ago after spending three weeks in Indianapolis, was signed to the team's 53-man roster.
Undrafted rookie wide receiver Michael Bumpus was released to make room for Forsett. Bumpus had been Seattle's punt returner, but with cornerback Josh Wilson , who had been returning kicks, moving into the starting lineup, Forsett offers the versatility in the return game that Bumpus lacks.
Seattle will likely attempt to bring Bumpus, a Washington State alum, back to the practice squad. In his 4 games on the active roster, Bumpus had 5 receptions for 48 yards, as well as his 1st NFL touchdown in the team's Week 3 win over the St. Louis Rams. Bumpus also returned 7 punts for 66 yards.
