Nobody ever said winning was easy. But for the Seahawks in 2008, winning has been near impossible. The Seahawks led by backup QB Seneca Wallace who was 20-of-28 passing for 212 yards and threw 3 touchdowns on the day, led the visiting Patriots for the entire game until the final minutes.
WR Deion Branch played inspired football, facing his former team and had two touchdowns, one of which was a spectacular highlight-reel one-handed grab in the endzone.
Clearly the team hasn't quit on this season and spent much of the day hardly resembling a 2-10 football team. In the end the Patriots were able to pull ahead and secure the game after forcing a fumble on Wallace when a blitzer came through untouched. The Seahawks face the equally struggling 2-11 Rams in St. Louis next Sunday which may be their best chance at their third victory of the year.
